About Dr Cam McDonald PhD, MSc, BSc
I love motivating people, and helping them to live their best life, taking into consideration their genetics, their food & lifestyle choices and their environment.
Nothing gets me going more than engaging with groups of individuals and supporting them to increase their awareness of themselves, others around them, and experience dramatic improvements in their health in many areas as a result.
My background as an Exercise Physiologist, Accredited Practising Dietitian put me in good stead to embark on a PhD looking at inflammation and body composition change in Breast Cancer Survivors. Following this I worked in private practice, corporate health, did a large number of talks and presentations to people in cardiac wards, right through to large corporate events. Since 2010, everything I have done has been focussed with one intention, and that is to make health and the choices that create health easy and obvious.
I am currently on a mission to support the change over of our health industry from one of Generic to Genetic – in short – helping health professionals and the general community understand that we need to personalise health to truly make a positive difference, to prevent and reverse chronic disease. Every person on the planet needs something slightly different from the next person.
My time is spent between my family, speaking engagements and creating resources in alignment the work and missions of the Ultimate Human Foundation.
Every day I feel very grateful that I am able to do the work I do, and nothing excites me more than having the opportunity to move a crowd and really create momentum in people’s lives when it comes to their health.
I am passionate about helping companies and organisations create Unity and Community through Understanding Uniqueness.
“With increased awareness, we can make better choices, which creates greater action, which allows us to reflect and refine our lives towards the freedom that we all want.”
